Wensleybale was established 12 years ago on our family farm in North Yorkshire to meet the demands of the local racehorse training industry in Middleham.

Over the years the area grown and harvested has steadily increased and we are now responsible for feeding over 1,000 racehorses in training throughout the country.

We have been proud to feed a number of Group 1 winners both in this country and as far afield as Hong Kong as well as winners at Cheltenham and Aintree festivals.

We control every stage of production from sowing the grass seed to the delivery of the bale. All haylage is grown on our own farms and is therefore fully traceable and guaranteed.

Our aim is to supply each client with haylage from a field allocated to them, this ensures they receive a consistent quality product throughout the year. As we put all of the bales on pallets we can keep every field separate from the next.

During 2011-12 alone Wensleybale was responsible for feeding winners at the following high profile meetings:

• 3 Glorious Goodward winners
• 2 Cheltenham Festival winners
• 2 Aintree Festival winners
